Splitting time between the Puget Sound and the Columbia River Gorge, lush forests and barren canyons both become fluid with their nearness to water. I am inspired by the beauty of my environment, the outdoors, and the ability to lose oneself in the solace nature provides. My process captures the movement of my surroundings, and each stroke becomes a spontaneous dance of brush to canvas. Paying tribute to my environment reminds me to slow down and reconnect with nature.
